Prof. Maciej Nyka became an expert of the European Economic and Social Committee (EU)

We are pleased to announce that Assoc. Prof. Maciej Nyka (Head of the Department of Public Economic Law and Environmental Protection) was appointed as an expert of the European Economic and Social Committee.

The European Economic and Social Committee is an advisory institution of the European Parliament, the Commission and the Council of the European Union established in the EU Treaties, composed of representatives of employers, trade unions and social, industry, economic and cultural organizations.

As part of his work, Prof. Maciej Nyka will participate in the work of the TEN section (The Section for Transport, Energy, Infrastructure and the Information Society) in the preparation of a new legislative initiative regarding universal service in the area of electronic communications.This initiative is an extension of research carried out for years at the Department of Public Economic Law and Environmental Protection of our Faculty in the area of regulation of infrastructure sectors.
